SKOGSDUNGEN

A small cabin in the Finnish lake district, in central Finland. The square plan offers a continuum of space creating communal cabin living. The perimeter is lined with one continuous piece of fixed furniture which underlines the limit between inside and out, but at the same time frees up space, creating an efficient plan. 

 

The large eaves enable the interior to flow outwards, making it possible to enjoy the outdoors throughout the seasons.
